He can move in your home by himself and project variety of internet content automatically.
Tipron is a transforming, internet connected projection robot who can move around your home by himself and project internet and local content. He can take family photos/movies automaticaly creating memories as if your pet recorded them. He can also navigate a home or office andproject internet content in a desired location without the need for user control.
A robot projector for your home
By using the custom smartphone app, you can control Tipron remotely, move him to various rooms and locations and register those spots. Tipron can move automatically between the charging station and those registered places. You can register multiple projection positions for each place, a specific wall, the floor, or the ceiling to customize the projection direction according to your usage. Tipron can also work according to a set time schedule and automatically move to a set room or location, then project internet content.
Product design that follows the flow of Japanese animation
Tipron's chief designer used their experience to create a unique transforming robot projector. When Tipron is not in use he can transform to a compact size allowing him to "sleep" in a small space. After being turned on Tipron will start moving and transform to allow the projection camera to adjust to multiple heights and angles. Tipron takes design cues from classic Japanese futuristic robot animation.
Anywhere in your home, a user experience that lets everyone enjoy internet content
By using various Web APIs, Tipron can project personalized content, news and topics that interest you, social network messages or interesting posts for you, recipes while you’re in the kitchen and weather, news and traffic reports when you're getting ready for work in the morning. Tipron has a HDMI input on the back of his head, which you can use to connect a wide variety of video playback sources or to connect computers to use Tipron in your office. Tipron has a rotating head mechanism so he can project a vertical document by turning his head 90 degrees and return to landscape projection mode when you want to watch a movie or other video content. LEDs and internal speakers on Tipron are designed so Tipron can express emotion via light and sound.
He makes a third screen in your home
We believe that so far two types of displays used in the home have changed the world, the TV has provided a way for a group to be entertained, but has mostly been used in a passive way to watch programs or movies. Now smartphones and tablets are used for personal entertainment consumption, to access internet content and to communicate with people through social media and other networks. Tipron will be the third display in your home, a display for watching content as a group and a personalized display for the individual.
